Our basic track layout around the compound is slowly taking shape allowing us access to both our current running shed and new workshop facility. We also have a dedicated space for the storage of track and sleepers in readiness for the eventual laying outside of the compound, around the Tyseley site.
We also have plans for the creation of mini green spaces dotted about the yard to add both visual interest and do our bit for the environment.

"Belle" is currently over half-way through its overhaul and has recently returned back to Tyseley after having its new boiler made.
We now have to source items such as water guages and other pipework/fittings to see it through to completion.
"Dudley" is now undergoing a full engine service and bodywork overhall at Tyseley. In theory, it should be a straight forward exercise but due to parts for the early 20th century Morris Commercial engine only now being available in Australia, it is taking a little longer than expected.

We have now got our "new", additional 40-ft container that we will be using as a dedicated workshop. It has been fitted with a central, single road access to allow space for work around the items within, and a workshop and storage area for tools and equipment at the rear.
We now need to build up a full set of tools to enable us to achieve all our renovations and repairs.

There are four Parkinson designed covered carriages and three Hunt Brothers designed open "toast rack" coaches still to refurbish, with each one being in a different state of disrepair. Our first task will be work on two covered and two open carriages to form an initial "set" of four.

A sub-project in its own right, this seeks to source funding for all the others and ensure the TMRP is financially viable.
We reckon on current estimates the other sub-projects will need the following funds:
Sutton Belle - £6000
Railcar "Dudley" - £1000
New Workhop/Tool Provision - £6500
Carriage Refurbishment - £7000
